My son Tyler started at the Childhood Language Center at the age of 3 after being diagnosed as having had a stroke. He could barely say 10 words. As a mother and a teacher, I feared the worst. However, his experience with the Childhood Language Center has been incredible. He has made tremendous progress under the guidance of the caring speech therapists at the center. I can’t imagine how Tyler would have faired had we not found this wonderful organization. The Childhood Language Center has had such a positive impact on his life.

I am very grateful for having my son Ian receive speech therapy at the Childhood Language Center. He loves having Adrienne helping him and teaching him to verbalize his wants and needs. He has grown so much in the past year and he can be so expressive when he speaks. Now more than ever. I watch and listen to him while he has his session and he has the most remarkable smile on his face and a look of wonder in his eyes when he learns anything new. He makes eye contact with Adrienne when she speaks to him and plays along with him. She will always be someone special in my son’s life and mine. I want to thank the Childhood Language Center for giving my son the chance to communicate with everyone who holds him dearly in their hearts. Not only has this program improved my son’s speech, but it has also helped develop his cognitive abilities. Every session that he attends is full of fun and interesting activities. I continue to count my blessings that this program is free of charge - it is a true blessing for those without insurance or those whose insurance refuse to cover speech therapy.

The Childhood Language Center has opened a whole new world for our son, Jackson. Without them he would not be the little chatter box that he is! Thank you for making all his hard work seem like so much fun! Now he has a little voice to match his vibrant personality. The Childhood Language Center is an asset to our community. My child is able to receive speech therapy twice a week. Our family does have insurance, but the insurance only covers twenty sessions of speech therapy. The Center provides services that are very expensive to pay for out of pocket.
Adrienne, my child’s therapist, is a blessing. Her knowledge and method of teaching is exceptional. We have received speech therapy for approximately 1 year. I have seen a huge change in the development of his language skills.
I truly believe that without this Center and Adrienne my child would not have progressed so quickly.

Childhood Language Center has enabled my three year old to communicate with his family and friends. He is now able to communicate by signing and speaking. It was amazing the first time he said ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy.’
