CHILDHOOD LANGUAGE CENTER
The mission of the Childhood Language Center is to provide excellent services to children, ages birth to 16 years, with communication disorders, without regard to race, creed, or a family’s ability to pay.
Children with communication disorders often have normal intelligence. However, delays in communication skills can cause them to fall behind academically and socially. Children with more severe disorders may require therapy for years. Even the slightest impairment can cause stress and hardship within a family. That is why the Childhood Language Center, a provider of free speech therapy, is so important to the community. Our Center strives to help children communicate better, teaches parents the skills to work with their children at home, and lessens the financial burdens placed upon parents and guardians to provide specialized services for their children.
